This course introduces students to major topics in international relations, including global, regional, national, and individual causes of war and peace, international cooperation, north-south relations, and political economy. It provides a framework for analyzing political phenomena in world politics, and its objective is to familiarize students both with major developments in the evolution of the international system and with some of the central concepts and methods used to study it.
